Macros & Physique Check In

I hit a massive plateau in May and stayed between 136 - 138 for over a month. I decided to change up my diet and switch over to the Macro World! 

Prior to switching... I had been an intuitive meal prep eater for years. I would tend to stick to the lower carb range daily with random cheat meals here and there. After switching over to counting Macros... One of my biggest realizations was that I wasn't eating enough.. I was definitely below my daily caloric intake. 

When your deficit dips lower than your daily need.. Your body will naturally begin to go into starvation mode! Once your body enters starvation mode.. It will store any food that comes into the body.. Basically meaning your weight will go NOWHERE! And your body is that new storage facility down the street. 

Long story short... by counting macros, I have been able to really feed the beast fully (yes, I just referred to myself as a beast! I'm a damn She wolf ... Killing life on the daily 😍 Join me? ) 

Ok ok back to it... Since I started macros, I've been able to get out of my plateau. I am now 134 and enjoying carbs on the daily! I still eat clean, but it's such a joy not to feel guilty when consuming carbs. My physique has began to thrive with this way of eating ... Weight loss as well as toning 👌👌 I'm 100% about Macro life. 

Within the last month, I have read over 6 books on the Macro lifestyle.. Its important to get the full story before you start anything new. Overall, I am stoked that I finally decided to jump on it. I feel more energy and genuinely feel like my body is thriving with my macro percentages.
